Sansevieria Laurentti "Snake Plant"
Origin: Tropics of West Africa
Size: 1 gal
Description:
Is a tall robust plant up to 3 to 4 feet tall with a tight dump of many verticaly inclined dark green leaves with lighter gray-green, zig zag horizontal bands and abroad, longitudinal, yellow stripes along the margins.
LIGHT
Sansevierias do best in moderate to bright indirect light. However, they will do fine in low light areas and can also withstand full sun.
WATER
Your Sansevieria does not need much water, and overwatering can cause the plant to rot. Be sure to keep the leaves dry when watering and allow the soil to dry in between waterings. Reduce watering down to once a month during the winter.
HUMIDITY
This plant does not require any extra humidity.
TEMPERATURE
Conditions ranging from 55-85 degrees are fine for the Sansevieria, however, they prefer warmer temperatures.
FOOD
Fertilize your plant twice a year with a general-purpose plant food.
TOXICITY
Sansevierias are mildly toxic to pets and humans. Typically, ingestion will cause mouth and stomach irritation and possible vomiting.
ADDITIONAL CARE
Sansevierias are an easy, hardy plant and don’t require any additional care.
