BTMS-25

BTMS-25 is a cationic emulsifier, mainly used in hair and skin care products. It contains:

• Behentrimonium Methosulfate (a very mild conditioning agent derived from rapeseed oil)
• Cetearyl Alcohol (a fatty alcohol that adds structure and stability)

What is BTMS-25 used for?

• To emulsify oil and water (like other emulsifiers)
• Leaves a silky, conditioning feel, especially in hair products
• Great for making conditioners, hair masks, lotions, and creams
• Ideal for dry skin since it doesn’t leave a greasy residue

BTMS-25 vs traditional Emulsifying Wax:

• BTMS-25 actively conditions, especially hair
• Emulsifying Wax NF is more neutral, without conditioning benefits
• BTMS-25 gives a more lightweight, silky texture
